Submissions from aviation stakeholders and the public yesterday closed for the Department of Infrastructure’s Consultation Paper titled Modernising Airspace Protection.
The proposed reforms come after an extended period of growth in major property markets that have encroached into airspace otherwise protected from intrusions.
AvLaw GGM Amin Hamzavian yesterday submitted a response on behalf of the company, with particular emphasis given to Reform Proposal 1 – Modernising Airspace Protection under the Airports Act 1996.
A copy of AvLaw’s submission and other submissions (made public) will be available online shortly.
